Job Description Expectations:   We are   seeking   a dedicated and detail-oriented   Painter   to join our   coatings   team. The   Painter   will   be responsible for   applying a variety of linings and coatings to steel   pipe . This role involves operating   painting   equipment,   maintaining   a safe work environment, and ensuring that all   coatings   meet the Victaulic’s quality standards. The ideal candidate will have experience in   steel coatings , a strong understanding of safety protocols, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Physical stamina and attention to detail are essential, as is a commitment to   maintaining   high-quality workmanship.     JOB RESPONSIBILITIES :   • Prepare and apply lining and coatings to steel pipe    • Surface clean steel pipe   • Apply protective coverings to areas of the pipe that should not be   painted , such as threaded ends or areas requiring special protection.   • Operate   painting   machines, compressors, and other related equipment, adjusting settings to match the   pipe's   material and the desired finish.   • Follow all safety protocols, including wearing   appropriate personal   protective equipment (PPE) and ensuring the work area is secure from hazards such as flying debris or inhalation of dust particles.   • Perform routine maintenance on   coatings   equipment, including cleaning, lubricating, and replacing worn parts to ensure efficient operation.   • Set up and prepare the   paint   area, including arranging pipes, setting up scaffolding or   supports , and securing the area for safe operation.   • Maintain   accurate   records of work completed, including logging the types of pipes blasted, duration of work, and any issues   encountered   during the process.   • Any other tasks, as assigned.   processes       Qualifications:   High school diploma or equivalent   Good communication   skills   both   verbal and written.   Bilingual is a plus   Computer literate   A ttention to detail and committed to quality   Physical ability to lift heavy materials and stand for extended periods       Schedule:   Full Time: Monday-Thursday 6am-4:30pm and occasionally Fridays   Pay:   $ 19-21 /hour     Why   Victaulic ?   • The Morning Calls Top   Work Place   • Opportunity for growth and Innovation   • VPP World Class Safety Program   • Company Events   • Company Matched 401k Plan   • Comprehensive Healthcare Benefits   • Wellness Program   Benefits effective on first day of employment:   • Medical    • Vision   • Dental   • Prescription   • Disability   • Life Insurance   • 401K matching
