Patient & Equipment Transporter as-needed (Boise)

Employment Type: Part time Shift: Rotating Shift Description: Position Purpose: Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center in Boise, ID is hiring a Patient and Equipment Transporter. This position is responsible for the internal transport of patients and the distribution of assignment equipment.   Position Highlights and Benefits: **This position does not offer insurance benefits** **You will not earn paid time off** • Schedule Information: This position will work various days and shifts, helping with coverage as team members are sick or on vacation. • Daily Pay benefit available. Minimum Qualifications: • High school diploma or equivalent required. • American Heart Association Basic Life Support for HealthCare Provider (BLS/HCP) certification required. • Prior experience in customer service and/or patient care preferred but not required. What You Will Do: • Respond to all questions and requests in a timely manner, providing the highest degree of customer service to patients and staff alike. • Coordinates with team to dispatch transporters appropriately. • Execute established procedures for decontamination, inspection, delivery of equipment and customer service relations. • Demonstrate use of transfer techniques and equipment as needed.   Ministry/Facility Information: • Saint Alphonsus Health System is proud to be named one of the Top 15 Health Systems in the country by IBM Watson Health.
