Licensed Practical Nurse Or Certified Medical Assistant - Walk In Clinic - Full Time

Building Location: Essentia Health Walk-in Care - Bismarck 9th St Department: 3681530 WALK IN CLINIC - MDB 9TH ST Job Description: Essentia Health is seeking a licensed practical nurse or certified medical assistant to serve in the Walk In Clinic, Bismarck ND. This LPN or CMA works 36 hours hours per week, 3- 12 hour shifts and every 3rd weekend/holiday. Education Qualifications: Assists RN, Physician and other providers and provides direct patient care in the ambulatory care setting to contribute to meeting the mission and goals of Essentia Health. Will perform identified procedures for which competencies have been demonstrated. Cares for patients ranging in age from newborn to elderly as noted on age-related category. Licensure/Certification Qualifications: • LPN: Current North Dakota LPN license required upon hire. • CMA: Current registration or certification as a medical assistant OR verifiable completion of a medical assistant program and must become certified within one year of date of hire.  Must pass certification within two attempts. • CMA: Must be registered as a Medication Assistant III through the North Dakota Board of Nursing within 60 days of hire/transfer.
