As a float Medical Assistant, you'll support multiple locations and play a vital role in ensuring efficient clinic operations and exceptional patient care. This position combines both clinical and administrative responsibilities while working closely with providers, patients, and clinic staff. 💻 What You'll Do Medical Assistants in Convenient Care are responsible for: ✅ Greeting and registering patients while providing outstanding customer service ✅ Rooming patients and obtaining vital signs ✅ Documenting patient information accurately in the electronic medical record (EMR) ✅ Assisting providers in the delivery of professional medical care ✅ Processing medication refill requests according to clinic protocols ✅ Collecting patient payments and fees as appropriate ✅ Performing point-of-care testing ✅ Performing phlebotomy and specimen collection ✅ Supporting efficient patient flow throughout the clinic ✅ Floating between Convenient Care locations as staffing needs require ✅ Helping create a positive and welcoming patient experience during every visit ⚕️ Clinical Environment Convenient Care clinics provide walk-in and same-day care in a fast-paced outpatient setting.
