description delta electronics manufacturing corporation, a leading global manufacturer of radio frequency, microwave, and millimeter wave interconnect solutions, is seeking qualified candidates to join our team. founded in 1955, delta electronics, in conjunction with its global locations, continues to expand our manufacturing capabilities, product offerings, as well as pioneer innovative approaches to service aerospace, military defense, medical and wireless communication market segments. delta electronics is an “equal opportunity employer” and offers all employees the same opportunities to grow within a global organization. job functions: utilizing existing documentation, prep, assemble, and inspect rf microwave cables with all appropriate materials and tooling. suggest improvements to assembly process, and documentation, where applicable. responsibilities/daily tasks: works in an organized fashion using appropriate tooling and materials via the documented assembly procedure. prepare cables per documentation for soldering contacts and connector assemblies. performs appropriate in process inspections and tests (i.e., workmanship and dimensional). records and documents assembly data where appropriate. performs labor, materials, and related transactions, in a timely fashion works with the manufacturing manager, qc, and engineering, to ensure product quality, while increasing productivity thru resolving assembly issues. requirements applicable soldering certification for cable assembly (i.e., j-std-001 and ipc-a-620), a plus, but not required basic math skills. ability to work with hand tools and semi-automated tools / fixtures. documentation / record keeping skills. ability to work from product drawings, written, and verbal instructions. ability to work with mechanical inspection equipment (drop indicators, calipers, interface gauges, etc.). qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, sexual orientation, gender identity, disability or protected veteran status. position requires candidate to be a u.s. person as defined in itar, 22 cfr 120.15 (u.s. citizenship or resident alien status) and defined by 8 u.s.c. 1101(a) (20).
