Account Manager - Insurance Solutions Group

OVERVIEW The Select Business Unit Account Manager I is expected to maintain a book of business based on location practice, will demonstrate the ability to handle a book of business up to $125,000 in commission revenue. Market and service accounts (new and existing) in a way that fosters new business development and existing client perpetuation. Process client requests for service; gather necessary information for submission; verify and maintain account files. Must be able to handle an account and sell policies from beginning to end as well as maintain compliance responses for accounts sold. Individuals may perform other duties as assigned, including work in other functional areas to cover absences, equalize peak work periods or otherwise to balance the workload. • ALL DUTIES OF POLICY SERVICE ASSOCIATE • Manage client accounts, including processing service requests, endorsements, cancellations, and other functions, handling a book of business up to $125,000, as available • Initiate or respond to sales calls for new business or account rounding • Review of insurance applications and policies to ensure initial compliance and underwriting authority and guidelines • Screening and processing insurance applications • Prepare and compile a variety of insurance-related documents within established procedures • Market existing and new accounts • Maintain all records • Maintain positive carrier relationships • Assist in meeting office sales goals • Any other duties as appropriate and assigned by management LICENSING OR CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS • MUST hold current Property/Casualty License in resident state; includes maintaining by meeting all continuation education and other requirements • Must be working towards CISR designation WORK AND EDUCATION EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: • 2-4 years’ insurance experience • High school diploma or equivalency; some college preferred TRAINING REQUIREMENTS: • Department and Position Specific Training • Microsoft Office Applications • Office Etiquette • Ethics • Time Management • Advanced Customer Service • Basic Leadership Skills • E and O Basics ADDITIONAL/PREFERRED • CISR Designation or similar insurance designation • Advanced Leadership Skills • Life/Disability License • Any additional designations/specializations • Supervise support team • Participate in training of new hires or less experienced teammates This is a hybrid role, requiring three days per week in the office.
