Job Description Warehouseperson Job Description Qualifications: • High School diploma or equivalent required • Computer literacy required** • Minimum of 3 years prior warehouse experience** • Basic inventory management skills • Ability to perform simple mathematics (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division) • Previous forklift experience** • Able to accurately pick and pack orders • Forklift certifications for all required equipment*** • Experience with forklift-mounted computers and barcode scanners (training available on the job) • Ability to lift up to 45 pounds Responsibilities: As a Warehouse Associate, you will be responsible for the safe, accurate, and efficient handling of materials for both inbound and outbound shipments.  Labor intense job in a non-climate control environment. Key Duties: • Safely pick, pack, load, and ship orders as required • Review and follow special instructions for all pack sets • Utilize the Branch Locator system for accurate transactions • Receive and inspect incoming material from Victaulic subsidiaries, customers, and vendors • Maintain accurate inventory through cycle counts and good inventory management practices • Perform housekeeping and maintenance duties to keep the warehouse and property clean and organized • Assist "will call" customers as needed • Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and the code of ethics • Comply with all safety guidelines and proper personal protective equipment (PPE) practices • Complete other duties as assigned by the Distribution Manager or Distribution Center Coordinator
