This position is responsible for safely transporting products to customers while providing exceptional customer service and supporting shipping and warehouse functions when not making deliveries.</p> <p>This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy a balance of driving, customer interaction, and hands-on warehouse work. Drivers are home daily and serve as a key representative of CRL with customers throughout the region.</p> <h2>Job Responsibilities</h2> <ul> <li>Safely operate a company box truck to deliver products to customers throughout the local service region.</li> <li>Load, unload, secure, and transport materials in a safe and efficient manner.</li> <li>Perform daily vehicle inspections, pre-trip inspections, and post-trip inspections while maintaining DOT compliance.</li> <li>Maintain delivery paperwork, inspections, logbooks, and required documentation accurately.</li> <li>Deliver exceptional customer service during all deliveries and customer interactions.</li> <li>Assist with warehouse operations, shipping activities, inventory movement, staging material, and general plant support when deliveries are not scheduled.</li> <li>Utilize handheld technology and company systems to support delivery and operational activities.</li> <li>Follow all company safety policies, DOT regulations, and Critical Safety Rules.</li> <li>Communicate effectively with leadership, warehouse personnel, and customers throughout the day.</li> <li>Maintain regular attendance and contribute positively to a team-focused environment.</li> </ul> <h2>What We Are Looking For</h2> <h3>Required Qualifications</h3> <ul> <li>Minimum of 2 years of recent commercial driving experience.</li> <li>Valid driver's license with the ability to meet all DOT requirements.</li> <li>Current Medical Examiner's Certificate or ability to obtain one.</li> <li>Clean driving record with no significant violations, suspensions, or preventable accidents.</li> <li>Previous warehouse, shipping, manufacturing, or distribution experience.</li> <li>Strong customer service and communication skills.</li> <li>Ability to safely lift, move, load, and unload materials.</li> <li>Ability to read delivery paperwork, schedules, and measurements accurately.</li> <li>Must have airbrake endorsement</li> </ul> <h3>Preferred Qualifications</h3> <ul> <li>Class B CDL preferred.
