Test Engineer - Software & Systems Co-Op

description • assist the software test team in daily software and associated hardware verification activities across the entire software development lifecycle, including testing of merge requests and formal verification and validation (v&v) • help building automation test suite • through testing, discover product defects and work to reproduce failure modes • communicate test results to the larger r&d team • participate in the development of scripts for automation of testing & data analysis • assist in additional r&d activities as needed requirements experience/skill requirements: • prior work experience in python, c++ or any scripting languages and basics of software testing • basic understanding of machine learning • good documentation skills and knowledge of why it is important • ability to analyze, understand and communicate technical information • organization and attention to detail • adept at managing multiple tasks, prioritization and working with others • an innate desire to understand how things work, as well as how they may fail • interest in medical devices, bioimaging and software design educational requirements: rising junior or senior pursuing a bachelor of science in software engineering, computer science, biomedical engineering, mechanical engineering, chemical engineering, physics, or a related technical area.
