OMM Technician

Job Description: Production Support (OMM Technician)     Bloom Energy faces an unprecedented opportunity to change the world and the way energy is generated and delivered.  Our mission is to make clean, reliable energy affordable globally.  Bloom’s Energy Server delivers highly reliable and resilient, always-on electric power that is clean, cost-effective, and ideal for micro grid applications.  We are helping our customers power their operations without disruption and combustion.    The Operations Materials Management technician (OMM) is responsible for Oracle transactions, preparing kits for assembly, operations materials management, materials inventory, and manage the daily operation planning and shipping.    Roles & Responsibilities     • Verifying incoming materials and shipments and update Oracle database.  • Identify stacks for binning & kitting and all rework columns.  • Reconcile inventory discrepancy in physical & Oracle database/system  • Complete daily transaction logs and all required pass down reports  • Perform Oracle transactions and WO (work order).  • Prioritize work by interacting with area leader (Lead/ Supervisors/ Manager).  • Assist in development of manufacturing procedures to create the most efficient processes  • Provide on-the-job training to new employees in OMM team  • Responsible for quality control with zero discrepancy or error on the kits or columns  • Operate within standard operating procedures (SOPs) and Job Safety Analysis (JSAs) Receive, open and inspect all incoming packaged materials  • Closely supervised but is able to make decisions on assignments based on current workloads  • Follows guidelines established for department operations and knows when to elevate problems to supervisor  • Monitor and Support all OP5 operation planning activities in DE  • Process Material Requests, pull parts and adjust system inventories  • Perform other duties as required      Education & Experience:       • Ability to work independently and work well under deadline and pressure.  • High School degree required, Associate's degree or higher preferred  • Maintain a clean and orderly work area  • Ability to lift up to 35 pounds required.  • Knowledge of Shipping/Receiving process and procedures and environment.  • Good communication, Team-Building and good interacting skill with operation team.  • Demonstrates good skills in the use of computerized spreadsheets, database, email and word processing programs. Strong in excel and Microsoft Office Suite.  • Customs/Import/Export regulations and documentation  • Two or more years’ experience in Planning and production environment.  • Experience with Oracle database utilizing inventory, receiving & cycle count modules is a plus    About Bloom Energy   Bloom Energy's mission is to make clean, reliable energy affordable for everyone in the world.
