description purpose of the job: the supply chain analyst is responsible for sourcing and procuring components needed to fill customer demand, negotiating fair pricing, and ensuring timely delivery. reports to: sr. supply chain manager or director of supply chain duties and responsibilities: develop & build relationships as the main point of contact for daily business execution with suppliers. sourcing and placing vendor purchase orders to fill customer pos monitoring po delivery and expediting where necessary negotiating pricing and terms with suppliers maintain data integrity for procurement activities monitoring overall supplier performance, providing feedback, and jointly creating action plans with the suppliers support strategic business reviews with suppliers work closely with customer service, sales, and strategic alliance groups to understand customer demand and requirements analyze demand and recommend strategic purchases when beneficial recommend and support/lead improvements to optimize the overall process and drive greater efficiency. requirements bachelor’s degree and/or 1-3 years related experience working knowledge of ms office and erp systems analytical mind with business acumen detail-oriented and organized excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
