Job Overview Fairview   is   seeking a   Casual   Neonatology physician to help on an as needed basis to cover shifts at Fairview St. John's and  Woodwinds Hospitals. Ability and flexibility needed to cove r addition al Fairview sites; Ridges Hospital and Southdale Hospital.    Practice Details:     • Schedule is based on an as needed bases   • Shifts: variable, typically 24 hour shift length   • Home call available • Provide comprehensive care to newborns and premature infants   • Evaluate the physical and mental development of newborns   • Perform assessments of infants’ health, including ordering and interpreting lab and imaging tests   • Prescribe medications and treatment plans   • Advise parents on infant care and nutrition   • Attend deliveries and provide emergency care for newborns   • Collaborate with other healthcare team to ensure the best possible care for the newborn   • Neonatal Nurse Practitioners on Staff 24/7     Community Information :   M Health Fairview St. John's Hospital | M Health Fairview .
