Summary Job Description: Registered Nurse-ED PRN I First Shift Emergency Dept. I Georgetown, KY   Baptist Health ER & Urgent Care - Georgetown is a healthcare facility located in Scott County, KY. Patients seeking medical attention can visit this facility for their healthcare needs.   Description ED-RN: • Registered Nurse implements professional nursing practice centered on the patient as a whole person and the creation of a caring environment focused on healing and wellness. • Assessment of patients’ needs. • Development of patient care plans. • Provision of direct care. • Management of patient care delivery. • Demonstrate leadership skills. • Support for quality care. • Customer relations and healing environment. Requirements ED-RN: • Current RN licensure or work permit in Kentucky.  • Bachelor's or an associate degree in nursing from an accredited college/university.  • Applicants with an associate degree in nursing and less than 10 years of experience must enroll within 12 months of hire in a bachelor’s degree program and must have achieved the degree within 5 years.  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required. If not already certified, must obtain BLS within 30 days of their hire date. • ACLS/PALS/NRP and successful completion of dysrhythmia class as required by department of assignment.
