Emergency Medical Technician EMT - Waterbury - 8pm- 8am

Employment Type: Full time Shift: 12 Hour Night Shift Description: Saint Mary's Hospital, EMS Waterbury CT Full-time, Rotating Shifts You would be responsible for assessing patient’s injuries or illness at scene and establishing treatment consistent with state licensure and protocols, communicate all pertinent information to medical personnel directly involved with patient’s care. What you will do: • EMTs transport sick and/or injured patients to or between appropriate medical facilities and/or residence. • EMT will respond to all requests for service in an optimal manner and the priority of response when directed by the dispatcher. • Float to other EMS coverage areas based on need Position Hours: Full-time, 11am-11pm, rotating weeks at 36/48; alternating wknds/holidays Requirements: • Education:    High school diploma and completion of an accredited EMT program. • Certification/Licensure: Current EMT CT license, AHA CPR, valid driver’s license, all in good standing.  At Trinity Health Of New England , we understand that the success of our organization is directly related to our hardworking, compassionate, and dedicated colleagues who contribute their time and skills to help transform healthcare. Pay Range: $21.35 - $32.05   Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates.
