Your primary responsibility will be to conduct thorough vascular ultrasound assessments on patients, specifically targeting the lower extremities, while ensuring an exceptional patient experience throughout the process. Position Details: Location: Floats between our Altoona, State College, and Johnstown clinics. Schedule: Part-Time (Monday-Thursday) between 25-32 hours per week. Must be able to travel train, out of state, for the first 3+ weeks. Compensation: $40-$47/hr based on experience and qualifications Key Responsibilities: • Perform vascular ultrasound studies including venous insufficiency, venous reflux, venous mapping, and venous duplex examinations . • Perform additional vascular imaging studies if applicable such as carotid, arterial duplex, ABI, DVT, and PVR testing . • Independently perform and document ultrasound examinations while maintaining accuracy and quality standards. • Support patient care within a vein clinic, vascular laboratory, or related vascular imaging environment. • Utilize PACS and EMR systems to document studies, manage images, and support clinical workflow. • Apply broad sonography knowledge when appropriate, including experience with general ultrasound modalities such as OB/GYN and abdominal. Requirements • Graduate of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography or Vascular Ultrasound program, required . • Current RVT (Registered Vascular Technologist), RVS (Registered Vascular Specialist), or RPhS (Registered Phlebology Sonographer) credential, or eligibility to obtain certification within 90 days is required . • Demonstrated experience performing venous insufficiency, reflux, venous mapping, and venous duplex studies is preferred . • Ability to independently perform vascular ultrasound examinations and produce high-quality diagnostic images, required . • Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a patient-focused healthcare environment, required .
