RN, CVRU - Days - Weekend Work Program

Job Description​ Saint Luke's East Hospital is looking for a Registered Nurse to join the dynamic Cardiovascular Recovery Unit. Position: Registered Nurse - CVRU Schedule: Weekend Work Program - Days. This position is a weekend work position. The WWP requires clinicians to work 2-12 hour shifts every Saturday and Sunday, and is paid at time and a half. Work two shifts, get paid for three ! This role is responsible for delivering high-quality nursing care to patients undergoing complex cardiovascular and interventional procedures, as well as managing acute and critical diagnoses. The RN functions with a high degree of clinical judgement, accountability, and critical thinking while collaborating within a multidisciplinary healthcare team. Patient Population & Clinical Focus The RN will care for patients with, but not limited to: • Percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) • Pacemaker placement • Peripheral vascular procedures • Interventional radiology (IR) procedures • Respiratory failure • DKA/insulin drips • Post–STEMI recovery • Other acute and complex cardiac and critical care diagnoses In hospital setting, accountable for utilizing the nursing process. Responsible for performing patient care, delegating patient care tasks and for supervision of other patient care staff. Responsible for coordinating the plan of care for a group of assigned patients. Job Requirements Applicable Experience: Less than 1 year Basic Life Support - American Heart Association or Red Cross, Registered Nurse - Various Associate Degree Job Details Part Time Day (United States of America)
