You will contribute to the planning, design, and delivery of water and wastewater infrastructure projects, including treatment facilities, pipelines, pump stations, water and sewer systems, and solid waste facilities.
What You Will Do
• Under limited supervision, develop engineering designs of basic to moderate complexity for water and wastewater treatment facilities, water and sewer systems, pipelines, pump stations, remediation sites, and solid waste facilities.
• Review design documents and technical reports to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, as well as firm standards and best practices.
• Conduct site visits, field reviews, and technical studies to confirm design assumptions and location‑specific requirements.
• Update design criteria and technical requirements as project needs evolve.
• Perform water quality analyses and modeling to support planning and design decisions.
• Contribute to the firm’s Technical Knowledge Management (TKM) program by developing white papers, documenting innovative or specialized designs, and sharing lessons learned.
• Prepare and submit technical papers, design documentation, and presentations for publication in industry journals and forums.
• Collaborate with business development and sales teams to support proposals and responses to requests for proposal (RFPs).
• Review proposal content for technical accuracy, regulatory compliance, and alignment with industry best practices.
• Meet with current and prospective clients to understand project needs and support relationship development.
• Attend conferences, symposia, and industry events to support professional growth and increase visibility of the firm’s capabilities.
• Provide technical guidance, training, and mentorship to junior staff, supporting their development within the discipline and firm.
• May supervise and review the work of junior engineers on assigned projects.
• Perform other duties as needed to support successful project delivery. #LI-JR1 #LI-HYBRID

• High level of proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Word, to support analysis, documentation, and reporting.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey technical information to diverse audiences.

• 5 years of related experience.
• Domestic and/or international travel may be required.
• The frequency of travel is contingent on specific duties, responsibilities, and the essential functions of the position, which may vary depending on workload and project demands.
